Measuring Your Bite Digitally
T-Scan™ Novus™ is a digital occlusal analysis system: an objective way to measure how your teeth meet when you bite. Articulating paper can only show where teeth touch. T-Scan also measures force and timing — two of the most fundamental measures of your bite.
It identifies premature contacts, high-force areas and how the biting surfaces interact, so adjustments are guided by data rather than guesswork.
How a T-Scan Visit Works
Bite on the Sensor
A wafer-thin sensor in a handpiece records your bite, up to 500 times a second.
See It in Real Time
Force and timing appear on screen as you bite, mapped tooth by tooth.
Adjust With Precision
We use the data to target only the contacts that need it.
