Your First Visit

At the TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre of Raleigh-Durham, we understand that your first visit is an important step toward feeling better and finding answers. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable, informed, and confident about your care from the moment you walk through our doors.

What to Expect

During your initial visit, our team will take the time to listen to your concerns and learn about your symptoms. We’ll review your medical and dental history, discuss your lifestyle and sleep habits, and perform a comprehensive examination of your jaw, head, neck, and airway.

Advanced Diagnostics

If needed, we may use advanced imaging or diagnostic technology to better understand the source of your discomfort. This allows us to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses the root cause, not just the symptoms.

Personalized Care Plan

Once your evaluation is complete, we’ll explain our findings and recommend treatment options that fit your needs. Whether your plan involves oral appliances, therapeutic exercises, or collaboration with other specialists, we’ll guide you every step of the way.
